The Housing Network of Hamilton County is dedicated to providing an array of services for people with disabilities, their families, and their caregivers. Below is a brief overview of what we offer.
Rental Housing
The Housing Network of Hamilton County is dedicated to providing safe, affordable and accessible rental properties to people with developmental disabilities. Our properties are designed and renovated to meet the needs of those who choose to live within the Housing Network and who wish to share the costs of home and care services while experiencing the benefits of community living in some of Hamilton County’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
With a sense of community comes also a sense of independence as tenants have freedom of choice when it comes to determining housemates. Tenants are also able to interview and select their own support providers, which are arranged through Hamilton County Developmental Disability Services.
Accessibility
We work with tenants and their families to provide modifications or renovations that may be required on a case-by-case basis. Many of our homes are specifically modified to accommodate those with mobility impairments.
Property Management
As the landlord, our organization is responsible for repairs and general upkeep of our properties. We keep rent affordable by basing the monthly cost off of the HUD Fair Market Rent Schedule that can be found at https://www.huduser.gov/portal/datasets/fmr.html.
